Georg Fritz, born in Saarlouis in 1968, grew up in Saarwellingen. At the age of six he received his first piano lessons, at the age of 11 the violin followed as a second instrument. He won various first prizes at “Jugend musiziert”, played in classical orchestras and made concert tours in Germany and Europe.

In addition to his love for classical music, he discovered his predilection for pop music and jazz at an early age and founded and played with various bands and ensembles in which he worked as a keyboardist and pianist. Georg Fritz has been the musical founder and director of the popular New Generation Orchestra www.tng-online.de since 1995 and is responsible for numerous successful productions, concerts and shows. For over 20 years he has been writing extensive arrangements for bands, orchestras and other formations. As a freelance artist, he continues to work as a sought-after musician for music groups, orchestras, jazz formations and big bands.

Since 2010 he has been working full-time as a pianist and percussionist in the big band of the Saarland police.
